A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a qualified Resident Technical Officer to supervise transmission cable and development projects. The role requires compliance with safety and environmental standards, alongside management of civil and structural works. Qualifications

• Minimum Three (3) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transmission cable and building development project works including civil and road works.
• Ensure contractor carried out works factoring safety, environmental and health matters.
• Provide supervision for civil and structural works compliance with Authority’s Requirements.
• Handle Temporary Works including excavation, earth retaining and stabilizing structures.
• Manage utility diversions and protection works if required.
• Conduct risk registers and hazard logs.
• Oversee mobilization and demobilization of vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate cable preparation and pulling works.
• Ensure construction of Joint Bay and associated works.
• Manage cable jointing works in joint bay.
• Supervise testing and commissioning works related to transmission cable.
• Prepare weekly summary reports on site management to highlight safety issues.

Education

Registered as Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES
