Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore leads delivery of unmanned CBTC signalling, platform screen doors, and related infrastructure for new MRT lines and extensions. The role involves leading international contractors through supply, design, manufacture, install, test and commissioning of signalling and platform systems.

You will review design, supervise equipment delivery and installation, and participate in overseas and on-site testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
• Strong project management, decision making and leadership skills.
• Positive Safety culture.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, network management and security management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful, and result-oriented.
• Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with relevant experience in safety, quality, contract, and programme management would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews, supervise equipment delivery and installation for CBTC signalling systems.
• Manage overseas and on-site testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and progress of works.
• Review and manage project risks, cashflows, and issue engineering instructions; assess variations/payments/claims.
• Collaborate with multiple agencies and railway operators to ensure well-coordinated project delivery.
