Job summary

A gas supply company in Singapore seeks an engineer responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of gas and chemical systems. Your role will include updating work procedures, maintaining safety standards, and managing inventory control for gas cylinders. The ideal candidate should be familiar with government regulations and prepared for standby emergency duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all engineering work and maintenance of gas/chemical related equipment run smoothly.
• Prepare work procedures for all engineering works (maintenance, ad-hoc, CIP).
• Update and maintain all maintenance records, monthly maintenance and engineering report.
• Perform off-duty standby backup work.
• Duty roster scheduling and maintain operational discipline.
• Perform installation and maintenance of gas supply system.
• Perform cylinder change for gas systems and daily logging of gas supply systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on gas supply systems to ensure operations at tip-top condition.
• Inventory control for gas cylinders and spare parts.
• Perform chemical waste collection duties (including tote/drum changeout for chemical waste systems).
• Understand and comply with government regulations.
• Attend to emergency at all times and perform off-duty standby backup work.
• Ensure maintenance is carried out safely and adhere to operating procedures.
