You will be part of a dynamic team within Supervision Platforms Division under Information Technology Department.
In this role, the officer is expected to undertake the following areas of work:
Build and manage strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs, align priorities, and deliver effective technology solutions.
In conjunction with business, to design and deliver a solution experience that meets the needs of user through human, digital, and physical interactions, over time, across a journey (in conjunction with policy, process, digital enablers).
Mapping of the service/business/functional requirements to solution/application system/technical requirements and ensure overall design, development and implementation remains consistent with the overall architecture of the project, and its objectives and needs.
Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT services
Conduct procurement
Ensure compliance to ICT Governance policies and standards
Ensure risk framework is adhered to, and carry out risk management for projects and products
Plan and manage IT projects, and ensure alignment of project to the business objectives within established scope, cost and schedule
Quality: To assure the quality of systems and applications, including the establishment of quality management technology and systems for applications development and delivery
Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services
Manage change request, service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are met
Review post production issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures
Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches
Measure, monitor and continuously improve performances of IT services
Define and track SLOs and error budgets to ensure IT services meet uptime and performance targets
Work with vendors and development teams to implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to provide visibility into system health and performance
Bachelor Degree or Master Degree with preferably 10 years of relevant working experience in project management, business analysis and system operation
Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management, release management & SRE
Strong experience in managing business, IT and senior stakeholders
Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and be comfortable with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. Experience with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes is expected, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with observability platforms such as Elastic, Grafana, or Prometheus would be advantageous
Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required
Working experience in using project management software like JIRA to track, monitor, and reporting of project/issue progress and producing reports
Familiarity with Government Instruction Manual 8 will be an added advantage
Good analytical skills, and able to mulit-task and deliver results in a timely manner
Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
Sound knowledge in coding languages, databases, application architecture, cloud technologies and IT security
