Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive/Project Engineer to lead the rail communications project. You will coordinate design, installation, testing and commissioning of fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, PA, telephony, CCTV and access management across MRT facilities.

You will ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards while managing risks, cash flows, and variations across contracts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in large infrastructure projects is valued.
• Good understanding of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in managing contractors to design, supply, install, test and commission rail communications systems.
• Ensure safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of works.
• Plan and manage risks and cash flows for contracts; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers, stakeholders and Railway Operator for coordination.
• Prepare tender specifications, participate in tender evaluation and award.
