Job summary

Grab is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Infrastructure Platforms, to own the product vision and execution for the core engineering platform that powers 1,000+ microservices and thousands of engineers. You will define strategy, KPIs, and roadmaps, and collaborate with engineering, design, and AI teams to deliver high-impact, reliable platform capabilities at scale.

We are Grab's centralised Platform Engineering team — the builders and custodians of the foundational technology stack that powers everything from consumer apps to autonomous agents. Our domains span Developer Experience, Infrastructure Foundations, Reliability Engineering, and AI/Agentic infrastructure. With thousands of engineers relying on our platform daily, we operate at a scale where the quality of our tooling directly shapes the speed and safety of Grab's product development. Get to Know the Role

As Lead Product Manager, Infrastructure Platforms, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for Grab's core engineering platform - the backbone that enables 1,000+ microservices, hundreds of tools and agents, and thousands of engineers to build and run high-quality products quickly, reliably and securely.

You will report into the Head of Product, Technical Infrastructure and work in a hybrid setup from our Singapore office. You will be supported by dedicated engineering & design teams and will have direct influence over how Grab's engineers experience their craft every day.This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical understanding and product excellence. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Own the platform product roadmap: Define and drive your roadmap end-to-end, aligning with engineering leadership on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery milestones that reflect real developer pain points.
• Set strategy and success metrics: Frame clear problem spaces, define KPIs and OKRs, and track adoption and outcome metrics to ensure platform investments translate into measurable developer productivity gains.
• Drive adoption of platform solutions : Partner with internal engineering customers to understand their workflows, champion new capabilities, and ensure teams are effectively adopting platform products — not just shipping features.
• Write and iterate on high-quality PRDs : Collaborate deeply with engineering teams to produce rigorous, well-scoped Product Requirements Documents and see them through to high-quality execution with minimal rework.
• Champion developer experience through research — Regularly engage Grab's engineering community to surface friction points, synthesise insights, and translate them into prioritised product improvements.
• Leverage GenAI for productivity : Use AI tools (e.g. Copilots, LLM-assisted PRD drafting, data summarisation tools) to accelerate research, documentation, stakeholder communication, and roadmap analysis — and bring this mindset into how the team works.
• Introduce thought leadership in platform engineering: Benchmark Grab's platform against industry best practices, identify capability gaps, and advocate for the investments that keep Grab's developer platform world-class.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 8+ years in Product Management in a technical context: You have led complex technical products from 0→1 and at scale, ideally in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling domains.
• Engineering or quantitative foundation: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; you can engage credibly in technical architecture and data discussions without needing translation.
• Data-driven decision-making: You extract insights from usage and telemetry data, define the right success metrics upfront, and use evidence — not intuition alone — to prioritise and course-correct.
• Strong executive storytelling: You distil complex platform concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical teams and non-technical leadership, driving alignment and buy-in.
• Cross-functional influence: You build trust with engineering, design, and data science partners and manage stakeholder relationships effectively across technical and business contexts.
• AI tool fluency: You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas — and can bring this into platform product thinking.
• Adaptive, high-urgency execution: You move fast without sacrificing quality, context-switch comfortably across infrastructure, reliability, and AI domains, and hold yourself to a high bar on delivery.
