What it's about
Partners Group is searching for a Lead Product Manager to join our Product Management team in Singapore. The Product Management team is responsible for leading, coordinating and enabling a variety of activities throughout the lifecycle of various investment programs: driving timely and seamless launches, monitoring and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction both with clients and service providers and taking the lead in the management of fund restructurings and winddowns. The successful candidate will be working within the Product Management team in Singapore, which is responsible for a wide range of investment programs ranging from our flagship private market funds to bespoke separately managed accounts and evergreen funds marketed in Asia.
You will be part of the Singapore Product Management team with the following responsibilities:
• Takes full ownership of the lifecycle of an assigned product portfolio
• Responsibility for the timely and error free execution of the team's assigned service catalogue
• Ensures timely and seamless launch of funds, restructurings and wind-downs in close collaboration with sales, structuring, operational teams and external service providers
• Proactively interacts with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to assess satisfaction, identify issues and independently implement robust solutions
• Solves complex operational issues involving several teams, finding win-win solutions thanks to excellent negotiation skills
• Acts as partner for sales in finding solutions for clients while representing operational capabilities assertively
• Leading team-relevant projects and contributes to business unit-relevant projects
• Reviews output of junior team members and trains less experienced Product Managers, delivers targeted education sessions for the wider team
• Highly knowledgeable of regulatory and legal environments
• Is an expert with regards to Partners Group’s operational platform
What we expect
• University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance or economics
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or private markets
• Knowhow in the launch and onboarding, implementation and the operational set-up of innovative fund and investment structures is a plus
• Relevant experience managing the lifecycle of investment fund products end-to-end
• Independent and self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete complex operating tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor junior team members
• Proven ability to work with others and generate impact in a team environment, willing to go the extra mile
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
