Job summary

Maybank Singapore’s Technology team seeks a leader to drive the end-to-end delivery and ongoing management of mission-critical payment platforms. You will ensure high availability, regulatory compliance and operational excellence across a complex payments ecosystem.

You will partner with senior stakeholders and technology teams to deliver secure, reliable payment solutions, coordinate 24x7 operations and drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline with proven experience leading enterprise-scale payment system implementation, production support and operational management within banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction systems, banking operations and regulatory requirements in high-volume, real-time environments.
• Hands-on experience managing incident, change, release and production support processes with focus on integration, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of payment system initiatives including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment planning and post-production support.
• Manage and support critical payment platforms such as FAST, IBG, PayNow, PNDN and EDP to ensure availability and service stability.
• Oversee 24x7 operational support, incident management, root-cause analysis and service restoration within SLAs.
• Drive software releases, infrastructure upgrades, security patches and changes with minimal operational risk.
• Ensure governance, change management, regulatory compliance and documentation are maintained.

Join our Technology team and play a key role in driving the delivery, resilience and continuous evolution of the Bank's mission-critical payment platforms. You will lead the end-to-end implementation, enhancement and operational management of key payment systems, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance and operational excellence across a complex payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of payment system initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, system integration testing, deployment planning, implementation and post-production support
• Manage and support critical payment platforms such as FAST, IBG, PayNow, PNDN and EDP, ensuring system availability, resilience and service stability
• Oversee 24x7 operational support, coordinating timely incident management, root cause analysis and service restoration activities in accordance with agreed service levels
• Drive software releases, infrastructure upgrades, security patching and change implementations while minimizing operational risks
• Ensure compliance with governance, change management, operational and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate industry-wide testing, certification exercises and payment-related regulatory programs
• Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement measures to enhance reliability, scalability and operational efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge repositories
• Partner closely with Business, Technology, Infrastructure, Risk, Operations and external vendors to deliver solutions within agreed timelines and budgets
• Lead proactive problem management initiatives and strengthen operational resilience through process optimisation and automation.

Requirements:-

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience leading enterprise-scale payment system implementation, production support and operational management within banking or financial services environments
• Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction systems, banking operations and regulatory requirements, particularly in high-volume, real-time payment environments
• Hands-on experience managing incident, change, release and production support processes, with a strong focus on system integration, operational excellence, service reliability and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external vendors and successfully deliver technology initiatives in Agile and regulated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Business, Operations and Technology functions.
