Job summary

Exyte Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities for safe, practical and sustainable mechanical systems. You will ensure designs meet client requirements and provide guidance to senior engineers across facilities.

Key responsibilities include design reviews, cost estimation, CMFI for changes, and representing the team in client meetings. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of design experience are required.

• Minimum 3 years of design experience.

Responsibilities

• Involve, manage and work with other disciplines to develop safe, practical, functional mechanical designs.
• Review designs for compliance with client requirements.
• Provide guidance to senior engineers or engineers on various mechanical facilities.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to grow internal talent.
• Represent the Mechanical Team in monthly client meetings.
• Estimate project cost and budget during programming and conceptual design phases.
• Coordinate design reviews with HOD and Design Managers.
• Capture design changes and raise CMFI for additional manhours.
