Job summary

ALLEVIATIVE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a practical M&E Engineer to lead ACMV and electrical site works. You will guide workers, translate drawings into site instructions and ensure completion with safety and quality standards.

The role requires coordinating with site teams, troubleshooting issues and supervising daily site activities, including night and weekend works as required by the schedule.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification relevant to M&E construction.
• Practical experience in M&E construction.
• Ability to read drawings and translate to clear site instructions.
• Able to lead site teams and troubleshoot problems.
• Responsible, organised and proactive; raise issues early.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute daily site works.
• Direct supervisors, workers and subcontractors with clear instructions and targets.
• Read drawings and verify dimensions and installation arrangements before work starts.
• Supervise ACMV installations including equipment, ducting, piping, drainage and insulation.
• Supervise electrical installations including containment, cable pulling and connections.
• Identify clashes and propose practical solutions before proceeding.
• Ensure materials, tools, equipment and access are ready for works.
• Check workmanship and arrange rectification of defects.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve access and sequencing issues.
• Lead critical site works, shutdowns, inspections, testing and commissioning with site teams.
• Provide updates on progress, problems and resources required.
