Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Java developer for a 12-month contract to build real-time E-Trading systems in Singapore. You will work with Java 11/17, Spring/Spring Boot, and REST APIs, delivering secure, scalable backend services and integrating with frontend capabilities as needed.

The role requires hands-on server-side Java development, TDD, and DevOps practices within an Agile fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Atleast 6+ years of Java Development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, preferably with Java 11/17.
• Experience developing Java server-side applications using Spring / Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, application security and testing.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of Java design patterns and software development best practices.
• Experience with test automation, TDD and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with React.js / frontend development is an advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
