yamazaki mazak singapore pte ltd is seeking a quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to produce monthly status reports, manage nonconformities, and collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering and Production to gather documentation inputs.

You will ensure documents meet internal and ISO 9001/ISO 14001 standards, support audits, maintain quality documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement through data analysis and documentation control.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Proven QA/QC or quality auditing experience in engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Analytical problem-solving and ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Independent and able to meet deadlines in fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with machining processes and CNC a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Produce monthly QA/QC status reports.
• Manage companywide nonconformities and claims.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Engineering, Production) to gather and validate documentation inputs.
• Ensure all documents comply within internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Assist in development, review, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, inspection protocols, and quality manuals.
• Assist in maintenance document control systems, ensuring version control and proper archival of obsolete documents.
• Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement. Measure the impact of improvements and adjust strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance within a manufacturing environment


• Proven experience in quality auditing, quality assurance, or similar roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment.


• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and present findings to various levels of management.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.


• Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality training solutions tailored to the needs of machinery manufacturing.


• Familiarity with machining processes, CNC technologies, and machine tool operations is highly advantageous.
