Job summary

SYNAPXE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior IT vulnerability and asset management professional to lead a team, drive remediation efforts, and ensure governance across IT infrastructure. You will coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business owners to deliver secure and compliant operations.

The role focuses on vulnerability management, asset lifecycle, data analysis, and process improvement, leveraging Python scripting and Power BI to generate actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience managing a team of minimum 4 people.
• At least four years of vulnerability management experience.
• Experience in IT infrastructure support, systems administration, or related technical role is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with troubleshooting complex IT systems.
• Hands-on Python programming for data processing, analysis, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects and BAU activities meet timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
• Manage expectations across technical teams, vendors, and business owners.
• Drive improvements, manage resistance, and lead teams through change.
• Take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
• Create, maintain, and update vulnerability management and IT asset management SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage vulnerability reporting and IT asset lifecycle management.
• Perform root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for vulnerability remediation.
• Analyze large datasets to support asset health and network status indicators.
• Stay current with industry trends and threats to enhance IT infrastructure resilience.
