We’re partnering with a well-known regional financial institution that’s strengthening its infrastructure capability in Singapore. This role offers a mix of hands-on engineering and strategic ownership, covering virtualization and compute platforms that underpin enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of VMware-based infrastructure across on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Drive optimization, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of compute systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives.
• Automate and streamline day‑to‑day operations using scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Ensure infrastructure meets enterprise standards for security, resilience, and scalability.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in VMware vSphere and related virtualization technologies.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux platforms, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with VMware NSX, cloud integration (AWS / Azure), or infrastructure migration projects a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and working within large enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative working style.
