Job summary

A prestigious golf and country club in Singapore is seeking a Landscape Manager to lead a team in developing and maintaining the club's landscapes. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in Horticulture and possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in horticulture. Responsibilities include managing landscape crews, conducting tree assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role offers a rewarding environment focused on excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of strong technical working knowledge in horticulture.
  • Hands-on experience is essential.
  • ISA certified Arborist would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of landscape crews for the development and maintenance of landscapes.
  • Conduct arboriculture visual tree assessments.
  • Liaise with arboriculture contractors for the necessary works.
  • Implement changes to plants as per the landscape improvement plans.
  • Design improvement works including planting plans and bill of quantities.
  • Plan treatments for plants, including insecticide and fertilizer application.
  • Control budgets and expenses related to landscaping.
  • Prepare tender documents and conduct interviews.
  • Assess and evaluate tender submissions.
  • Conduct daily inspections on landscaping maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety requirements.
