Job summary

Innowave Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Lead Full Stack Developer (IoT) to drive end‑to‑end IoT product development across hardware, firmware, and software. You will lead a small team, interact closely with clients, and coordinate with product, operations, and manufacturing to deliver production‑ready solutions.

The role covers cloud and web interfaces, containerization, and backend services, with emphasis on practical, production‑oriented development in a lean SME environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IoT, embedded systems, or full‑stack development.
• Prior leadership or project development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of IoT solutions across hardware, firmware, and software integration.
• Develop full‑stack web or cloud applications to support IoT devices and services.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to production, including prototyping and pilots.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small team (2–3 engineers).
• Engage with clients for requirements, presentations, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee project management tasks: timelines, documentation, and risk tracking.
• Collaborate with product, operations, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer (IoT) to drive the end-to-end development of our IoT products. In this role, you will work across hardware, firmware, and software, while also contributing to full-stack development for cloud and web interfaces. You will lead a small team of engineers, collaborate closely with clients, and coordinate with product, operations, and manufacturing teams to deliver production-ready IoT solutions.

This is an ideal role for someone who is hands‑on technically, enjoys full‑stack software development, and can also contribute to the broader product lifecycle in a lean SME environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of IoT solutions, covering hardware, firmware, and software integration.

• Develop full‑stack web or cloud applications to support IoT devices and services.

• Manage the full product lifecycle: concept, prototyping, pilot, and production.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for a small engineering team (2–3 engineers), including task allocation and code/design reviews.

• Engage directly with clients for requirement gathering, solution presentations, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee project management tasks: timelines, documentation, and risk tracking.

• Collaborate with product managers, operations, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

• Support cloud integration, containerization, and backend services for IoT platforms.

Technical Skills

Hardware / Firmware:

• PCB design, electronics fundamentals, sensors, microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32).

• Industrial protocols (Modbus, CAN, RS485).

• Firmware development in C/C++, RTOS, Linux device drivers, low‑level debugging.

Software / Full Stack:

• Python, Node.js (or similar) for middleware and web services.

• Front‑end web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar).

• Cloud integration (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Networking: TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP/REST APIs, and security protocols.

Tools & Processes:

• Altium / KiCad, Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in IoT, embedded systems, or full‑stack development.

• Prior team leadership or project development experience preferred.

• Experience in semiconductors, industrial IoT, automation, or product development preferred.

• Comfortable working in a small team, taking initiative, and handling multiple responsibilities in an SME setting.
