Job description

Finance Operations

• Support the Department Head by supervising a team to oversee smooth operations and meet the company’s objectives and key performance indicators.
• Ensure the internal control framework is in place.
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting on sub-ledgers, including bank reconciliation and accounts analysis.
• Continuously evaluate policies and procedures, tweak processes to gain productivity, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Act as an effective Change Manager, driving changes in Finance Ops processes to meet evolving business requirements.
• Keep updated on technological advancements in the AP/AR systems arena and review/evaluate their suitability for the business.
• Implement best practices in the AR/AP process.
• Follow up on abnormalities detected by Data Analytics and report findings from investigations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, bankers, other divisions, and external vendors on payment-related matters.

Project Management

• Drive process simplification and lead the implementation of standardization and scalable processes.
