Job summary

A semiconductor manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide facilities support related to Gas and Chemical Distribution systems, Ultrapure Water, and Wastewater systems. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor or similar industry, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This role aims to ensure the continuous supply of utilities and compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Master / Degree in Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred.
• In-depth knowledge in Ultrapure Water Treatment systems or Wastewater Treatment System.
• Ability to supervise improvement projects for the above.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft business applications.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, review and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems.
• Monitor and review utility consumptions.
• Provide guidance and training on the systems.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate spares and resources.
• Conduct project supervisions.
