Job summary

Flex in Singapore is seeking an engineer to design and evaluate plant facilities equipment, using existing manufacturing capabilities and process constraints. You will research facility products, define design feasibility, and support long-range engineering planning.

You will guide project teams, analyze data, and apply CAD/CAE tools to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions in a cGMP environment where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Research facility products or equipment specs and performance needs to define designs produced by current facilities.
• Research proposals, process requirements and data for industrial facilities equipment design.
• Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs and space.
• Provides technical facilities information on manufacturing techniques and materials affecting planning.
• Compiles and researches data to establish performance standards for new or modified equipment.
• Studies engineering publications to stay updated on industry changes.
• Uses CAD/CAE software to perform engineering tasks.
• Guides projects and project teams.
