The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in semiconductor equipment assembly. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tools is essential. This role involves overseeing new projects and training assembly technicians, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations at the Changi North Crescent location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in assembly and test of semiconductor equipment is necessary.
• Knowledge in FMEA and Control plan is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers.

Job Description

• Leads Technical discussions with the customer.
• Supervise Manufacturing and Engineering related projects.
• Establish process capability for new assembly and sub-assembly projects.
• Identify tools and equipment needed to be manufacturing.
• Manufacturing floor layout and process flow management.
• Product and process in-charge of Sub-Assemblies and Final Assemblies in a SystemIntegration production.
• BOM structuring.
• Work Instructions (WI) and process sheet development.
• Prepares process flow diagrams and job traveller.
• Production layout and assembly set-up.
• NPI lead, work closely with SCM for material turnkey solution, localization projects.
• Build Sub modules/Box Build to Final Assembly.
• Technical and project transition focal to coordinate with customers.
• Understand drawing and schematic.
• Performs reverse engineering activities.
• Trains and Leads technicians for assembly builds.
• Any other task related to manufacturing and engineering as directed by superior.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Background in electronic manufacturing.
• Has experience in assembly and test of semiconductor equipment.
• Able to understand manufacturing process and documented procedures.
• Soft skill knowledge in MS office.
• Knowledge in FMEA and Control plan.
• Understands Yield, SPC and GR & R.
• Knowledge in using manufacturing assembly tools such as torque screwdrivers, spanners and voltmeters.
• With good communication skills.
• Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
