Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Lead Offshore Structural Engineer to oversee design and engineering tasks for major projects. You will leverage your extensive experience in offshore structures to guide a team effectively while coordinating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have significant expertise in FPSO modules and team management, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 25 to 30 years of experience in leading major EPC projects.
• Experience with analysis/design of FPSO modules.
• Experience as Lead Structural Engineer for 5 major Offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers addressing all required analyses.
• Coordinate structural deliverables with designers as per contract.
• Liaise with various stakeholders including EPC contractors.

Skills

Proficiency in SACS

Proficiency in SESAM

Proficiency in STAAD PRO

Excellent communication skills

Education

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Offshore Structural Engineer with experience in Floating structures (FPSO Topside modules), Fixed Template Jacket Structures, Lifted Topsides, Float over Topsides
• Able to efficiently lead a team of Engineers by imparting proper guidance for all in-service, pre-service, accidental cases analyses
• Coordinate with and Designers for issue of Structural deliverables as per contract scope of work within the stipulated budget, schedule and quality
• Liaise with EPC contractor, End user client, Installation contractor, Marine warranty surveyor, Independent Verification body etc
• Leading a team of Structural Engineers and designers, liaising with EPC contractors, end user client personnel, IVB/MWS

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Experience in analysis/design of FPSO modules and Fixed Template Structures
• Worked as Lead Structural Engineer as a minimum for 5 major Offshore platforms/FPSOs
• Very good proficiency in SACS/SESAM/STAAD PRO Software and E3D Review
• Offshore Structural Engineer with minimum experience of 25 to 30 years leading major EPC projects for reputed end user clients
• Sound knowledge of Float over/Lifted Topsides, Launched/lifted jackets
• Good knowledge of Weight Control management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with inter disciplines
