Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Lead Offshore Structural Engineer with 25-30 years of experience in managing major EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and proficiency in structural design software, leading teams to deliver high-quality projects while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 to 30 years of offshore structural engineering experience.
• Lead Structural Engineer for 5 major offshore platforms/FPSOs.
• Sound knowledge of float over/lifted topsides.
• Good knowledge of weight control management.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of structural engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and end user clients.
• Liaise with marine warranty surveyors and independent verification body.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Offshore Structural Engineer with experience in Floating structures (FPSO Topside modules), Fixed Template Jacket Structures, Lifted Topsides, Float over Topsides
• Able to efficiently lead a team of Engineers by imparting proper guidance for all in-service, pre-service, accidental cases analyses
• Coordinate with and Designers for issue of Structural deliverables as per contract scope of work within the stipulated budget, schedule and quality
• Liaise with EPC contractor, End user client, Installation contractor, Marine warranty surveyor, Independent Verification body etc
• Leading a team of Structural Engineers and designers, liaising with EPC contractors, end user client personnel, IVB/MWS

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Experience in analysis/design of FPSO modules and Fixed Template Structures
• Worked as Lead Structural Engineer as a minimum for 5 major Offshore platforms/FPSOs
• Very good proficiency in SACS/SESAM/STAAD PRO Software and E3D Review
• Offshore Structural Engineer with minimum experience of 25 to 30 years leading major EPC projects for reputed end user clients
• Sound knowledge of Float over/Lifted Topsides, Launched/lifted jackets
• Good knowledge of Weight Control management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with inter disciplines
