Job summary

HTX seeks a Solution Engineer to design, develop, test, deliver and maintain scalable software solutions in a hands-on role aligned with anti-scam intel work. You will collaborate with tech leads, product owners, and end-users to refine features and ensure security and compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in IS/CS/Engineering, 3–5 years of experience, and strong skills in Python/JS/Java/C#/.Net Core, Next.js, microservices, CI/CD, containerised deployments, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in information systems, computer science, or engineering.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Python, Javascript, Java, C# and .Net Core.
• Expertise in Next.js and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, test automation, and static/dynamic analysis.
• Experience with containerised deployments and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience integrating API gateways, microservices management, messaging, security, identity, monitoring and logging services.
• Knowledge of REST, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenID, OAuth2.0 and QUIC.
• Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, distributed computing and backend frameworks.
• Public sector experience is a plus; senior roles may involve mentoring.

What You Will Be Working On

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience in software development.
• Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages – Python, Javascript, Java, C# and .Net Core.
• Expertise in Next.js framework and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including source code management, IaC, test automation, and static/dynamic code analysis workflows.
• Experience with building and deploying containerised applications, and expertise in Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with integrating digital platform services such as API gateways, microservices management, messaging middleware, security, identity, monitoring and logging services.
• Knowledge of protocols such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenID, OAuth2.0 and QUIC.
• Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, distributed computing and backend frameworks with expertise in at least one of them.
• Worked in the public sector or familiar with implementation in the public sector environment is an advantage.
• Senior positions will require experience in leading or mentoring junior personnels.

All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
