Persol Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and scale a digital twin and simulation platform.

You will lead hands-on engineering across architecture, integration, deployment, and continuous improvement for enterprise-grade simulation applications. The role requires 5+ years of production software experience in simulation or digital twins, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, and containerized deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS, SE, ME, robotics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years producing production-quality software in simulation/digital twin domains (research or industry).
• Strong Python programming capability with maintainable, well-structured code.
• Experience designing and integrating applications, tools, APIs, and services within complex software ecosystems.
• Hands-on with NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, or comparable 3D/simulation platforms.
• Proven ability to integrate software with data stores, enterprise apps, web services, and/or operational platforms.
• Experience with OpenUSD asset workflows (composition, variants, asset management).
• Experience deploying containerized applications; Kubernetes exposure preferred.
• Familiarity with GPU-enabled infrastructure for simulation/AI workloads.
• Exposure to cloud-native or hybrid deployment architectures.
• Experience with robotics/industrial automation environments (ROS/ROS2 a plus).
• Ability to apply AI/ML techniques in simulation or industrial workflows (plus).
• Experience with simulation tools (Plant Simulation, AnyLogic, FlexSim, Simio, etc.).
• Knowledge of physics-based modelling and simulation methods (plus).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable digital twin and simulation applications using NVIDIA Omniverse / Kit-based technologies and OpenUSD.
• Build reusable extensions, tools, services, and APIs to support multiple digital twin workflows and use cases.
• Translate engineering and operational requirements into production-ready software designs, standards, and technical documentation.
• Develop and operate OpenUSD asset pipelines (composition, layers, variants), ensuring performance and interoperability with upstream design tools.
• Implement data ingestion/synchronization pipelines that connect the digital twin to operational systems (IIoT, MES, databases, enterprise services, external APIs).
• Support simulation solution development for virtual commissioning, scenario analysis, process validation, and optimization initiatives.
• Define modelling assumptions, validation approaches, and benchmarking methods to improve simulation credibility and outcomes.
• Partner with infrastructure and security stakeholders to plan deployments, access controls, and runtime best practices for on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Implement containerized deployment patterns and contribute to platform scalability (including Kubernetes-based environments).
• Improve reliability and performance through monitoring, profiling, tuning, and runbooks.
• Participate in technical design reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and provide guidance through code reviews.
• Stay current on evolving tools and methods related to simulation, digital twins, OpenUSD, and applied AI for industrial-scale software systems.
