Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the evolution and scaling of the NaaS architecture, in line with Enterprise Architecture. You will ensure availability, performance, scalability, resilience and security across components while driving automation and platform optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of software delivery experience for large scale transformational projects.
• Experience as Product Owner in Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN) with JIRA.
• Experience in project planning, finances and procurement.
• Experience in business requirements analysis and translating to teams.
• Experience in service management of production projects or products.
• Understanding of cloud computing and container deployment (AWS/Azure/OpenStack).
• Understanding of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI, SonarQube).

• Oversee architectural compliance for HA, performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements.
• Drive automation and platform optimization across NaaS platforms, services, and products.
• Research new technologies in software development, automation, cybersecurity and cloud computing for NaaS.
• Lead and manage onshore and offshore delivery teams with technical guidance and design direction.
• Oversee operation service management for NaaS components in production with proactive monitoring.

Job description

Make an Impact by:

• Evolve and scale the established technical architecture for the key NaaS components in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture team to support future business, technology, and network growth.
• Oversee architectural compliance across components to ensure they meet agreed high availability, performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements.
• Proactively identify and drive opportunities for automation, process improvement, architecture simplification, and platform optimization across NaaS platforms, services, and products.
• Research and explore new technologies in software development and automation, cybersecurity and cloud computing (hybrid/multi/edge) for incorporation into the solution/architecture for NaaS to achieve continuous improvement of the platforms/services/products.
• Manage and align the various teams/stakeholders including top management to ensure the delivery of the various key building blocks for NaaS and grow it.
• Working closely with the business to gather requirements and prioritises the requirements for the various teams to deliver.
• Aligning with other internal teams within the organization to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, security and operability in mind.
• Managing and chairing the project steering committee meetings and other project management activities such as finance/budgeting and procurement activities.
• Lead and Manage Onshore and Offshore delivery teams across application support, solution enhancements, delivery execution, and operational activities by providing technical guidance, prioritization, design direction.
• Oversee the operation service management for the components of NaaS that are in production by ensuring that these components are operating reliably in accordance to the networks service level agreement with proactive monitoring and reporting.
• Manage the change management by ensuring that the software releases are aligned and following the organization’s internal change management and software release and deployment process. This includes using automation to improve the frequency and quality of the software release cycle.
• Manage the incident management by facilitating and leading the troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents with own teams and other internal teams. This includes managing the cyber security incidents and the patch management for the various platforms/systems.
• Participate and support in the Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and strategy for the division and Group Networks.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 7 to 10 years of working experience in software delivery for large scale transformational or digitalization projects.
• Working experience in leading and managing Agile projects as a Product Owner (such as SCRUM/KANBAN) and the usage of related tools such as JIRA.
• Working experience in project planning and management activities including financial and procurement.
• Working experience in business requirements analysis and translating to team for implementation and delivery.
• Working experience in service management of projects or products in production environment.
• Good understanding of cloud computing/container deployment and management such as AWS/Azure/OpenStack.
• Good understanding of software development and related automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI, SonarQube).
