Job summary

ABeam Consulting is seeking a senior AI/GenAI leader to drive strategic planning, governance, and cross‑functional collaboration across business and IT. You will develop and implement roadmaps for AI initiatives, promote governance policies, and engage stakeholders to maximize impact.

The role requires deep expertise in AI/GenAI, ML/DL/NLP, LLMs, and Azure Cloud, with hands-on experience in data platforms, MLOps, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT with 8+ years applying AI to practical tech solutions
• Strong background in AI and GenAI, ML, DL, NLP, and LLMs
• Proficiency in AI frameworks, Azure Cloud, and modern data platforms
• Experience with MLOps, DataOps, API development, and database design
• Skilled in data transformation, analytics, BI, and reporting tools

Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic planning, governance, and stakeholder management by developing and implementing a roadmap for AI and GenAI initiatives, establishing governance frameworks and policies, monitoring compliance, and engaging with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to promote the benefits of AI technologies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.
• Identify and promote innovative AI and GenAI use cases, support the development of custom applications and models, and contribute to functional and process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the design and development of chatbot and automation workflows using Microsoft technologies such as MS OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry, and Power Platform, while conducting evaluations of large language models from key market providers.
• Encourage experimentation and prototyping to drive digital transformation and provide advisory support across a broad range of AI-related technologies.
• Implement security measures to safeguard data and AI models, ensuring adherence to established security policies and standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs to upskill employees on AI and GenAI tools, prepare training materials, conduct tech talks, and foster a community of practice for knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AI solutions, ensuring operational stability and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, supported by professional certifications in Azure, AI, or Data Science.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 8 years applying AI to practical technology solutions.
• Strong background in AI and GenAI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, generative models, and large language models such as GPT, Llama, and Claude.
• Proficiency in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Azure Cloud services, and modern data platforms, with practical experience in MLOps, DataOps, API development, and database design.
• Skilled in data transformation, analytics, BI, and reporting tools such as Talend, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor teams, manage AI products, and engage stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills with experience in training, documentation, and fostering knowledge‑sharing cultures.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in AI solutions.
