Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry pressing machines
• Sort and arrange laundered items for pressing
• Adjust temperature, pressure, and steam on the presser according to the material and type of fabric
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working with the machines
• Communicate with the laundry team to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of pressing dutiesReport any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed to the maintenance department
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Requirements

• Physical stamina and strength to operate laundry press machines for extended periods
• Attention to detail to ensure proper pressing of garments
• Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their pressing requirements
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Basic math skills to calculate pressing times and temperatures
