Job summary

A technology service provider in Singapore is looking for a Laptop Technician to perform hardware diagnosis, assist in repairs, and ensure compliance with customer policies. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of IT support experience and be proficient in troubleshooting and customer service. Working hours are Mon-Fri 10 am – 7 pm and Sat 10 am – 2 pm. Salary is $2800.

Qualifications

  • Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in IT Support.
  • Experience with laptop hardware diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laptop hardware diagnosis and troubleshoot defective units.
  • Dismantle/assemble computer systems to repair necessary parts.
  • Handle drawer parts and return parts.
  • Update repair status.
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ policies and procedures.
  • Provide prompt customer service.
  • Test software to ensure full working condition.

Job Description
  • Perform laptop hardware diagnosis and troubleshoot on the defective unit
  • Dismantle / Assemble computer system to repair necessary parts
  • Handle drawer parts and return parts
  • Update repair status
  • Responsible for project work and ensure compliance with customers’ policies, processes and procedures are met
  • Responsible for routine customer enquiries and providing prompt and good service
  • Test software run full test to make sure full working condition
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least “O” Level or Higher Secondary/“A” Level/ITE or Diploma in Electronics or Computer/IT or relevant education certificate
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT Support position with troubleshooting skills
  • Technical in Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and other common desktop applications
