A leading IT services provider in Singapore is looking for a Laptop Repair Technician. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues, troubleshooting computers, and managing customer inquiries. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and relevant educational qualifications. This position offers a basic salary of $2800 and standard working hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: "O" Level or Higher Secondary/ "A" Level/ITE or Diploma in Electronics, Computer/IT, or relevant certificate.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support with troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical knowledge in Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and other common desktop applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laptop hardware diagnosis and troubleshoot defective units.
  • Dismantle and assemble computer systems to repair necessary parts.
  • Handle drawing parts and return parts.
  • Update repair status.
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ policies for project work.
  • Manage routine customer enquiries and provide prompt service.
  • Run full software tests to confirm full working condition.

Job Description

The role involves performing laptop hardware diagnosis and troubleshooting, dismantling/assembling computer systems for repair, handling parts logistics, updating repair status, ensuring project work compliance with customer policies, managing routine customer enquiries, and conducting full software testing to ensure working condition.
