SWIFT SEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Land Surveyor for building construction in Singapore.

The role focuses on establishing survey control, setting-out structures, and verifying coordinates against approved drawings. Applicants should hold a Diploma in Land Surveying or Geomatics with at least 2 years of relevant experience in construction setting-out, as-built surveys, and knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS/GNSS. AutoCAD familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of surveying experience, preferably in building/construction.
• Practical experience in setting-out, site measurement and as-built surveying.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project survey control points, reference points and benchmarks.
• Carry out site setting-out works for structural and architectural elements from drawings.
• Verify site coordinates, alignment, levels and dimensions for accuracy.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare survey records and reports.
• Perform level and dimensional checks across construction stages.
• Monitor structural movement and settlement as required.
• Carry out survey checks to support precast, architectural and structural works.
• Verify setting-out lines and installation positions of precast elements against drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate survey data, calculations and site records.
• Ensure surveying instruments are maintained and calibrated.
• Support the project team with other surveying and site measurement activities.
• Comply with project quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project survey control points, reference points and benchmarks.
• Carry out site setting-out works for structural and architectural elements based on approved construction drawings.
• Verify site coordinates, alignment, levels, dimensions and positions to ensure construction accuracy.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare the necessary survey records, measurements and reports.
• Perform level and dimensional checks throughout different stages of construction.
• Monitor structural movement and settlement where required.
• Carry out survey checks to support structural, architectural and precast installation works.
• Verify setting-out lines and installation positions of precast elements against approved drawings and design requirements.
• Coordinate closely with project engineers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve surveying and dimensional issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant surveying experience, preferably within Singapore's building or construction industry.
• Practical experience in construction setting-out, site measurement and as-built surveying.
• Familiar with establishing and checking survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, levels and dimensions.
• Proficient in the use of relevant surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level/Digital Level and GPS/GNSS, where applicable.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or relevant surveying software will be advantageous.
• Experience supporting residential, HDB, precast or large-scale building construction projects will be advantageous.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and survey information accurately.
• Able to coordinate effectively with engineers, site personnel, consultants and subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on surveying accuracy and site safety.
