Responsibilities

• Attend to daily subcontractors meetings and carry out required survey setting out lines/points.
• Maintain communication with project staff and subcontractors for proper planning.
• Ensure accuracy of all survey setting out lines/points.
• Check formwork level before and after casting.
• Perform routine checks of survey works at the end of the day.
• Arrange calibration and servicing of surveying instruments.
• Liaise with the Licensed Land Surveyor for proper on-site surveys.
• Assist in the Environmental Health Safety program.
• Upgrade skills through new surveying courses.
• Provide guidance to new land surveyors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Attend to daily sub contractors meeting and carry out the required survey settingout lines / points as required by the structure and architectural works.
• Maintain constant communication with project staffs and subcontractors to understandtheir requirements and carry out proper planning to ensure that the varioustasks’ timeline are met.
• Maintain accuracy of all the survey setting out lines/points and ensure properhandover to other parties to minimize mistakes to site works.
• Always maintain a routine and discipline approach to the general setting out ofworks according to floor framing plan by checking of formwork level beforecasting and after casting, verify as-built levels of slab andverticality/alignment of walls and columns.
• Exhibit clear confidence in all survey works with repeated checks and closing of allsurvey works at the end of the day to root out any possible chance of errors.
• Arrange timely calibration and servicing to the surveying instruments deployed onsite and maintain the records to facilitate audits carried out by governmentbodies or as a standard operational procedure in our company.
• Liaise with the Licensed Land Surveyor to ensure proper AMSL, As Built Survey etcare carried out with endorsement for authorities submission.
• Participate in assisting the Environmental Health Safety program set by the PM and WSHOthat will contrubute to a safe and clean site.
• Make effort to upgrade oneself to meet/exceed present standards through attendanceof new surveying courses and also proposing latest surveying equipment/methodthat are feasible for site usage.
• Able to accept additional work that form part of the project team’s own workactivities which will assist the in cost saving.
• Provide Guidance to new / fresh land surveyor that join the company to ensureseamless integration to the team without affecting the site progress.
