Job summary

A laboratory testing company in Singapore is seeking a laboratory technician to perform routine and non-routine testing on various materials and manage laboratory operations. Candidates should have a Nitec/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology and preferably two years of experience in wet chemistry and laboratory management. The role includes maintaining instruments, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean laboratory environment.

Qualifications

  • Entry level (preferably 2 years in handling wet chemistry and laboratory management).
  • Knowledge of ISO900, ISO 13485, and ISO14001 Quality management.
  • Understanding of current Good clinical/laboratory/manufacturing/pharmaceutical practices (cGXP).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine testing on raw materials and finished products.
  • Conduct maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Manage inventory of quality reference materials.
  • Prepare daily QC reports and work instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the laboratory and glassware.

  • Ensure all laboratory tests are well managed and performed
  • Ensure all laboratory instrument are maintained and calibrated
Job Description
  • To perform routine and non-routine testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as well as responsible for product release.
  • To conduct maintenance and calibration of relevant laboratory instrument and equipment.
  • To manage inventory of quality reference materials such as QC reagents and lab consumables.
  • Prepare daily QC report, relevant work instructions and validation protocol or reports.
  • Ensure documents and quality records are maintained for easy retrieval.
  • Manage operations towards timely support to meet factory analytical request.
  • To maintain cleanliness of laboratory and glassware.
  • Develop training to build quality and safety awareness.
  • To handle administration work of factory when required.
  • Any other matter as request by supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Nitec / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or its equivalent
  • Entry level (preferably 2 years in handling wet chemistry and laboratory management)
  • Troubleshooting skills with various analytical instruments
  • Sense of urgency, positive and team work
  • ISO900, ISO 13485 and ISO14001 Quality management knowledge.
