RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is hiring a Laboratory Technician - Packaging Testing at our Buona Vista office. The role supports material preparation, packaging testing, data recording, and shipping coordination in a fast-paced lab environment.

Contract runs 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Jun 2027 with potential renewal and conversion after one year. Salary SGD 2,500–2,600 per month. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break and walking distance from Buona Vista MRT.

What You'll Be Doing

Material Preparation & Technical Testing

• Coordinate testing schedules and prepare samples and materials for packaging evaluations
• Conduct standard packaging tests according to established SOPs
• Record testing activities, observations and results accurately in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
• Ensure good data integrity practices throughout testing activities

Packaging Testing

You will be exposed to a range of technical packaging tests, including:

• Compatibility Testing
• Weight Loss Testing
• Immersion Stress Cracking Testing
• Environmental Stress Cracking Testing
• Rub Test / Tape Test / Soak & Squeeze Test
• UV Fade Testing
• Drop Testing
• Torque Testing
• Leak Testing
• Shipping & E-commerce Transportation Testing
• Temperature Cycling Testing
• Label Peel Testing

Test Results & Laboratory Support

• Provide test data and information for OOS and test failure investigations
• Escalate testing deviations, equipment failures, abnormal results and laboratory issues to the Team Leader
• Follow laboratory procedures and safety requirements when handling samples, materials and equipment

Shipping Support

• Support shipping requests for packaging materials and samples
• Prepare, label and organise samples for shipment
• Coordinate packaging samples and materials for delivery
• Ensure samples are correctly identified and handled according to procedures
