Job summary

Evonik group is looking for a Laboratory Technician II in Singapore. This full-time role involves analyzing samples, operating laboratory instruments, and supporting production processes. Candidates should have an ITE/Diploma in Chemistry and ideally, at least one year of experience in a chemical laboratory. The job requires knowledge of various laboratory equipment like GC and HPLC. A team player with attention to detail is essential. The position involves a 12-hour rotating shift and is located at Jurong Island.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory environment in the chemical industry.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of samples to support operations staff in the production process.
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment and perform tests according to the Analysis Plan.
• Communicate results to relevant Operations personnel.
• Prepare reagents and standards needed for analysis.

Skills

Fluent in spoken and written English

Attention to details with accurate data recording skills

Team player

Knowledge or experience in handling laboratory instruments

Education
