The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec in Food Science or related fields, with previous experience in quality assurance. Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and record laboratory data.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow improvements.
• Support process and product quality testing by preparing equipment.
• Assist in tests to ensure food safety and manufacturing standards.
• Conduct laboratory tests for food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage the quality control (QC) through routine monitoring and maintenance.

Education

Higher Nitec in Food Science / Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines

Job description

Support process and product quality testing by preparing equipment and materials.

Assist in tests to identify processes and products that do not meet food safety and manufacturing standards.

Conduct laboratory tests to identify if food safety and hygiene standards are followed.

Assist to manage the quality control (QC) of the laboratory by performing routine monitoring and maintenance of equipment.

Preferred Qualification:

Higher Nitec in Food Science / Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines

Previous experience in quality assurance/ quality control or a similar field.
