Job summary

POET TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on technician to maintain test stations and equipment in a controlled environment. You will perform calibration activities and health checks, ensuring readiness of stations for production while adhering to quality standards.

The role requires experience in manufacturing settings, attention to detail for microscopic work, and willingness to work overtime and night shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing / operation environment.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear cleanroom attire in an air-conditioned setting.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in microscopic work.
• Willingness to support overtime when required and flexibility to work shift schedules, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the test equipment and test stations, including troubleshooting and revolving equipment-related issues.
• Perform daily test station health checks using SPC and release qualified stations to production.
• Execute standard test station conversion for different products.
• Coordinate and perform equipment calibration activities.
• Manage lab environment and facilities.
• Conduct product testing, packing, and labelling in accordance with quality standards.
• Uphold 5S workplace practices to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Perform other tasks as and when assigned by supervisors.
