Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Laboratory Chemist:

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily analysis of precious metal materials with accuracy, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide timely and appropriate technical guidance to operational personnel, including material handling procedures and hazard identification.
• Collaborate with the operations team to develop cost-effective treatment and recovery methods for incoming materials.
• Support technical recovery trials by providing recommendations and coordinating operational procedures.
• Assist in optimizing alternative analysis and recovery techniques to improve efficiency.
• Perform laboratory experimental work to support research and process improvements.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the analysis of precious or base metals.
• Hands-on experience in fire assay analysis and ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) machine operation is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,700 + AWS
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (8:00AM to 5.00PM)
• Company Transport will be provided
