Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Pathologists’ calendar, including scheduling meetings, training sessions, and case reviews.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Pathologists and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Provide administrative support to Pathologists as required.
- Attend key meetings with Pathologists and prepare minutes for distribution to relevant parties.
- Support selected Anatomic Pathology and Histology (APH) operational tasks, such as specimen accessioning and tracking.
- Organize, file and archive laboratory documents and records in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Comply with good laboratory practices for all procedures in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Laboratory Management to support departmental goals.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting will be preferred.
- Familiarity with Anatomic Pathology and Histology processes preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as a good team player with initiative and adaptability to change.
- Good analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
