Job description

Our client is a Manufacturing MNC for Chemical Materials. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Lab Assistant to be part of their Laboratory Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Duties of Lab Assistant:

• Conduct sampling, inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Handle sample receipt, labeling, storage, and review of Certificates of Analysis.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.

• Monitor lab inventory and support smooth daily operations.

• Report and manage quality or safety non-conformances, including issuing NC forms to suppliers.

• Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with QEHSMS, safety, and 5S standards.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the QA Manager.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical related field
• 1-2 years of lab/QA experience in chemical or relevant industry
• Comfortable to commit rotating shift
