A leading chemical company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist in R&D projects, analytical testing, and quality troubleshooting in Imuthane production. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Chemistry and preferably some experience in the chemical industry. Responsibilities

• To follow instruction to assist in developing new R&D project and conducting R&D and analytical work
• To follow instruction to assist in approval of new sources of raw materials
• To assist Imuthane production in quality trouble-shooting
• To assist in process modification when deemed necessary by production
• To update and file analysis reports and other documents.
• To ensure that all consumables are sufficient for daily operation of Imuthane labs
• To assist failure analyses on customers’ complaints and provide customer support through testing of samples sent by customers
• To assist in analytical method development through collaboration with external laboratories
• To carry out safety and house keeping activities in the department.
• To participate in the company’s safety and health committee when required.
• To assist in sample preparation from small scale to large scale when receiving customer request from sales.
• Any other duties as and when required to be done by supervisor
