Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited in Singapore invites applications for an entry-level analytical role at the IPAG Hub (Tuas South). You will analyse gas and liquid samples according to written procedures and customer specifications, and calibrate instruments to ensure accurate results.

You will support off-site or adhoc analytical service when required, participate in safety and ISO programs, and help uphold the quality management system.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation.
• Able to move gas cylinders and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Analyse gas/liquid samples independently according to written procedures and customer specifications.
• Perform calibration and work safely in accordance with safety requirements; report near misses.
• Support off-site or adhoc analytical service when required.
• Participate in safety/quality committees and ISO-related programs as instructed by supervisor.
• Record all related work via scanning system or standard documents for traceability.
• Support and uphold quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
• Involve in efficiency and process continuous improvement projects.

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm (working overtime and weekends is required on a rotational basis)

Responsibilities:

• To analyse gas/liquid samples independently according to written procedures and meeting customer specifications
• To perform the calibration and work safely in accordance to safety requirements and report any near misses
• To support off site or adhoc analytical service when required.
• To participate in any safety/quality committee/program, CERT team, 5s or any committee as instructed by supervisor
• To record all related work as per requirement either through use of scanning system or standard documentations for traceability
• To ensure product non compliance reporting, proper record processing, verification of incoming and outgoing certification to
• To support and upholding quality management system in accordance to ISO standards
• To involve and assist in efficiency and process continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or ITE certification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, which includes moving gas cylinders and working in an outdoor environment
