FLAVOURS MNC's Boon Lay lab is hiring a Lab Technician to support flavor development. Training is provided, and the role sits in a fast-paced quality-focused environment.

You will compound flavor samples, weigh materials with lab equipment, monitor inventory, follow SOPs, perform quality checks, and keep the lab clean and safe. Mon-Fri office hours with good growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Sciences or similar.
• Experience with weighing materials and use of lab equipment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compound flavor samples according to approved formulas.
• Accurately weigh materials using laboratory equipment.
• Perform quality checks, including appearance and color.
• Maintain inventory levels of library flavors.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Assist with inventory replenishment.

Lab Technician (FLAVOURS MNC) - West/Training Provided/up to $2.5k #HAO

Salary: up to $2500

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri office hours

Location: Boon Lay

Job Description:

• Compound flavor samples according to approved formulas and instructions.
• Accurately weigh the materials using laboratory equipment.
• Ensure all compounding activities are completed within the required timelines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize rework and material wastage.
• Verify materials, batch numbers, and quantities before use.
• Perform quality checks, including appearance & color where required.
• Review and ensure optimal inventory level of library flavors.
• Clean lab equipment, glassware and apparatus after use.
• Follow all laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Assist with inventory management and material replenishment.
• Acquiring materials from the production / warehouse for compounding
• Ensure materials used in the laboratory are stored at correct temperature and location to ensure quality and safety
• To carry any additional job-related duties as assigned from time to time, when and where necessary
• Maintain good housekeeping and a clean and safe working environment in the laboratory.
• To carry out any additional job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
