Job summary

NOVEXX PTE. LTD. is hiring a Lab Technician / Lab Support Assistant in the West area of Singapore. This yearly renewable role supports laboratory operations, hazardous waste management, inventory control, and sample logistics.

Availability: Immediate or up to 1 month notice. The role requires a min Diploma/ Degree in a related field and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a related field.
• Experience in laboratory environments and adherence to R&D safety guidelines and PPE standards.

Responsibilities

• Segregate, monitor, and dispose of hazardous chemical waste streams and maintain waste canisters.
• Receive incoming reagents, biological/analytical samples, and lab consumables; maintain stock records and alert procurement for timely reordering.
• Coordinate with suppliers to request quotations for analytical instrumentation, service contracts, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Helium gas cylinder deliveries and routine instrument care, including replacing GC system vapor traps.
• Act as the primary point of contact for managing incoming and outgoing sample shipments with courier partners.
• Keep laboratory workstations clean and organized, ensuring full alignment with SOPs.
• Execute daily operations in full adherence to R&D safety guidelines, site protocols, and PPE standards.
• Maintain a safe, clutter-free workspace through hazard reduction and accurate waste segregation.

About the role

Lab Technician / Lab Support Assistant position in a multinational biopharmaceutical company located in West, Singapore. This is a yearly renewable role supporting laboratory operations, hazardous waste management, inventory control, and sample logistics.

Availability: Immediate / Maximum 1 Month Notice

Location :West Area

Key responsibilities

• Segregate, monitor, and dispose of hazardous chemical waste streams (halogenated, non-halogenated, acids, bases, glass) and maintain solvent traps and waste canisters
• Receive incoming reagents, biological/analytical samples (via Biocair), and lab consumables; maintain accurate stock records and alert procurement for timely reordering
• Coordinate with suppliers to request quotations for analytical instrumentation, service contracts, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules
• Equipment Maintenance & Facilities: Helium gas cylinder deliveries (GH2) and carry out routine instrument care, including replacing GC system vapor traps
• Act as the primary point of contact for managing incoming and outgoing sample shipments with courier partners
• Keep laboratory workstations clean and organized, ensuring full alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Execute daily operations in full adherence to R&D safety guidelines, site protocols, and mandatory PPE standards
• Maintain a safe, clutter-free workspace through active hazard reduction and accurate waste segregation
