Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Immunology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Appointments will be made on a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day core operations including equipment inventory control and procurement support
  • Assisting in biosafety, chemical safety and waste management processes
  • Maintaining compliance with Singapore and NUS regulatory requirements, contributing to the programme safety audit performance
  • Coordinate core facility operations, equipment usage and billing administration with the programme manager
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by programme director

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba systems, grant administration, and institutional procurement processes will be advantageous
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and highly organised individual with good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Prior experience in research administration and/or laboratory operations
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
