Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Lab Assistant to manage samples and maintain a safe working environment. Candidates should have a diploma in Food Science or a related field, with prior lab experience preferred. This role requires a commitment of 5 days a week. • Request and collect raw materials, ensuring proper storage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Compound standard and repeat samples for internal customers and external customers.
• Collect intermediates and/or raw materials back to compounding station and return to correct locations after used.
• Maintain stock for standard list of flavors in the flavor library/flavor bank.
• Request/collect raw materials from Factory back to laboratory and ensure they are stored at the correct location to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment in Sample Lab
• Clean lab equipment, glassware and apparatus after use
• To carry any additional job-related duties, this may be assigned from time to time, when and where necessary.
• Implement and conform to all established environmental management systems.
• Support the implemented environmental management system.
• Comply with all applicable procedures and legal and other requirements.
• Comply with Corporate Behavior and Code of Conduct accordance to the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• Prior experience in lab preferred
• Able to commit 5 days a week
