Job summary

A local staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Lab Attendant to maintain equipment cleanliness, resource Science materials, and assist in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates should have some experience in logistics or laboratory work, effective communication skills, and a good level of fitness to perform various tasks. This role offers a contract for 12 months, with working hours from 7.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics, cleaning, or laboratory work is an advantage.
• Acceptable level of fitness and resilience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general cleanliness of equipment and the workplace.
• Facilitate the resourcing of Science materials for lessons.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm
• One weekday: 7.30am to 4.00pm
• Lunch break: 45 minutes

Salary Range

$1,500 – $2,100

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain the general cleanliness of equipment and the workplace.
• Facilitate the resourcing of Science materials needed for lessons to be carried out in the Science laboratories.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in teams.
• Prior experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage: Logistics-related work, Cleaning duties, Laboratory work and familiarity with safety requirements in Science laboratories.
• Have an acceptable level of fitness and resilience to perform the role effectively.
