UK Pharma in the West region is seeking an Analytical Support Officer for an 18-month contract. The role focuses on maintaining calibrated analytical equipment, leading investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a GMP environment.

You will lead validation activities, manage change controls, train staff, and support internal audits while upholding quality and safety standards in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• Min. Science degree holder with experience in Chemical, Pharma or Manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of GMP and laboratory equipment/validation.
• Good knowledge of quality, laboratory techniques and laboratory compliance.
• Good knowledge of regulatory expectations /CAP/ICH requirements.

Responsabilités

• Ensure analytical equipment are maintained and calibrated per site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead/participate in investigations from laboratory equipment/system events and propose CAPA.
• Perform periodic validation review of systems/lab equipment and recommend re-validation.
• Lead/participate in equipment validation and approve related documents.
• Maintain and support computer systems and equipment per change control procedures.
• Assess impact of changes on laboratory equipment and documentation.
• Revise and maintain laboratory procedures to ensure compliance.
• Ensure a safe lab environment and perform 6S inspections.
• Supervise, develop and motivate staff; conduct training on systems/equipment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, perform audits.
