Job summary

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years’ experience in an analytical laboratory environment within the chemical industry.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laboratory instruments as per instructions.
• Perform routine and ad hoc tests to monitor production processes; record and communicate results.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and calibrations for analysis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; perform calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Manage laboratory supplies including chemicals and consumables.
• Participate in risk assessments and adhere to safety practices in the lab.
• Provide training and technical support to lab technicians.
• Assist in method development and validation activities.
• Cover duties in other laboratory streams as required.
• Write and update lab operation procedures; maintain quality records.
• Coordinate third-party laboratory analyses and handle customer complaint samples.
• Manage retain samples for raw materials and final products.

• Experience handling hazardous and toxic materials.
