Job summary

SCIENTE in Singapore is seeking a Network Automation & Security Engineer to automate network operations, implement security solutions, and enhance infrastructure reliability using DevOps and automation tools.

The role covers building pipelines with Terraform and Ansible, managing security tools, monitoring, and providing L2 support with strong collaboration across teams to ensure SLA and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent experience required.
• CCNA certification mandatory; CCNP is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, F5, RSA, Tenable, and security tools.
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and NetBox.
• Knowledge of monitoring and configuration tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OPA, SaltStack or similar.

Responsibilities

• Automate network and security operations using Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Manage network infrastructure, security tools, monitoring, logging and compliance automation.
• Provide L2 support by troubleshooting incidents and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure changes and automation initiatives.
• Support change management, disaster recovery activities and operational processes.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent relevant experience;
• Strong networking experience with CCNA certification mandatory; CCNP is an added advantage;
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, F5, RSA, Tenable, and security tools;
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and NetBox;
• Knowledge of monitoring, policy, and configuration management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OPA, SaltStack, or similar platforms.
