Job summary

Julius Baer in Singapore seeks a KYC Uplift/Advisory Specialist to support International Relationship Managers with Periodic Reviews, conducting thorough reviews of KYC documentation for accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance.

You will collect client information, perform due diligence checks, prepare clear KYC narratives including SOW and SOF, and advise RMs on risk assessments, ensuring timely completion of cases and escalation to Compliance when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting KYC uplifts or Front KYC advisory roles within private bank.
• Strong knowledge of KYC risk assessment, SOW/SOF corroboration and financial crime compliance.
• Ability to interpret financial documents (statements, deeds).
• Understanding of the private banking industry and/or trust structures.

Responsibilities

• Review and uplift existing KYC profiles to meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Collaborate with RMs to prepare comprehensive KYC files and narratives for Periodic Reviews.
• Review updated SOW documentation and KYC corroboration from Front Office.
• Articulate SOW and SOF summaries with clear justification and traceability.
• Conduct SOW plausibility assessments and benchmarking of client activity.
• Provide feedback to RMs via email or in person and draft client SOW narratives.
• Review client structures and ensure documentation completeness per local regulations.
• Identify risk indicators or unusual transactions during reviews and escalate as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of review rationale and decisions.
• Ensure timely completion of cases and support periodic governance reporting.
